NMMA to take export directory electronic

CHICAGO – The National Marine Manufacturers Association will introduce the 2004 – 2005 Access America Electronic Marine Export Directory at the International Boatbuilders Exhibition & Conference being held Oct. 25-27, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, NMMA said today.

MultiView, the software services company that developed the Ultimate Boater’s Guide for many of NMMA’s consumer boat shows this past winter, will develop the directory, which NMMA calls, “the leading publication for North American marine product manufacturers seeking international distribution.”

The guide will include product literature and brochures from participating member American manufacturers with search tools. With this directory, manufacturers have the opportunity to enhance and update their electronic “product catalogs” throughout the year, NMMA said.

“The Access America Electronic Marine Export Directory is a great way for exporting accessory manufacturers to provide international buyers with up-to-date information on their full product range in one complete package,” NMMA trade events director Jennifer Thompson said. “The electronic format will allow member participants to continuously update their listing with new product information making it a more useful resource for buyers than the traditional printed directory.”
