IBBI names DealersCircle, Inc. as a sponsored supplier
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Independent Boat Builders, Inc., a marine industry purchasing cooperative, has named DealersCircle, Inc. to be one of its sponsored suppliers, it reported in a statement yesterday.
“IBBI bases the selection of its suppliers on a reputation for quality, service and industry leadership, and DealersCircle was an obvious choice,” said IBBI president Tom Broy. “The company’s Web-based marine application program will put our members on the cutting edge of technology. This is going to be a great partnership for our members.”
“We’re excited to be a supplier for IBBI,” said DealersCircle President Jamie Gaskins. “The members will now have our latest software technology at their fingertips, which will enable them to conveniently and more effectively link themselves to their respective dealer and customer networks. This is a great step for IBBI and the industry.”
IBBI, established in 1989 by a group of independent, recreational boat builders, currently has 24 shareholders. The membership has collective purchasing power of over $800 million, according to IBBI.
