ITW SprayCore moves from Ohio to Florida

CLEARWATER, Fla. – ITW SprayCore, a manufacturer of syntactic materials used in the construction of fiberglass boats and other laminate structures, is moving its headquarters from Cincinnati to a location in Clearwater, Fla., the company said in a statement this morning.

“The move was made to increase the company’s manufacturing capacity, expand its product line, and combine the technology of ITW SprayCore and Magnum Venus resin products under one brand,” said Bill Lauersdorf, general manager of ITW SprayCore.

The company commented that the recent acquisition of the resin business from Magnum Venus Products in Clearwater bolstered the strength and positioning of ITW SprayCore. The Magnum Venus line of resins has been incorporated into ITW SprayCore’s family of sprayable syntactics, and an expanded line of products, under the ITW SprayCore brand, is now being offered, according to ITW.

“Increasing capacity and combining our technology gives our customers a broader range of solutions, including more environmentally friendly products to meet their production needs, while increasing manufacturing efficiencies and savings,” Lauersdorf said.
