Centek to provide products for NMD

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Centek Industries will provide sample MYCELX products and literature for use in environmental demonstrations or displays for marinas participating in this year’s National Marina Day, according to a company press release yesterday.

“As part of our continuing support for clean boating, we are making this offer to marinas as well as National Marina Day sponsors,” said Warren Kaye, Centek president.

The focus of the third National Marina Day – to be held Aug. 14 – is educating government officials and the public about the marina industry. One suggested activity, which can be accomplished by demonstrating how MYCELX products prevent pollution, is showing local leaders how marinas protect the environment, according to the company. MYCELX products include splash-catching fuel collars, oil-absorbing pads, sheen booms, shoreline protectors and a stormwater filtration system, Centek said.
