WILMINGTON, N.C. – Southport Boat Works recently added two new dealerships for its outboard-powered sport fishing boat line: Pages Creek Marine Services, (Wilmington, N.C.) and Jones Brothers Marine (Morehead City, N.C.), Southport said in a press release today.
The dealerships will represent Southport products exclusively in their respective market areas over their three-year agreement terms beginning with the 2005 model year, according to the boat builder.
“We’re obviously thrilled to attract Pages Creek and Jones Brothers to the Southport brand,” said Frank Longino, managing partner. “Their dedication to customer service and enthusiasm for Southport products will help us to be a dominant brand in our home markets.”
Southport now has 14 dealership locations ranging from New England to the Gulf Coast. The company expects its first model, a 26-foot center console, to be prototyped in July with full production in August. A 28-foot center console will enter production in September followed by a 28-foot cabin model in October, Southport said.
