Onan and Grand Banks Yachts sign e-QD agreement
MINNEAPOLIS – Marine genset manufacturer Onan has signed a preferred supplier agreement with Grand Banks Yachts, Ltd., Onan said in a recent press release.
All yachts manufactured by Grand Banks that have generator sets will now offer Onan electronic Quiet Diesel (e-QD) gensets as standard, according to the company.
“The new e-QD generators are significantly quieter and smaller than previous models,” said Bob Livingston, CEO of Grand Banks Yachts, Ltd. “The new electronics provide unparalleled operation and diagnostics, making the generators easy to operate and maintain”
“This agreement strengthens the relationship between Onan and Grand Banks, and will provide both companies new opportunities to develop innovative products,” said Mike Jones, Onan manager for the Asia Pacific region. “Onan and Grand Banks owners will benefit from this relationship.”
