Flagship Marinas Expands into the Florida market
DALLAS – Flagship Marinas has assumed management responsibility of the 160-slip, full-service Northside Marina, located in Stuart, Fla., the first of three marina management contracts it has signed in the Florida market, Flagship President Gregg Kenney reported in a press release this morning.
“We are very excited about this opportunity at Northside Marina and we plan on fine tuning operations and increasing customer service satisfaction levels,” Kenney said. “Each employee at Northside will undergo extensive customer service and marina operations training. I have personally met with each employee at Northside, and I can say they are a fine staff.”
The marina, located close to the Florida East Coast Intracoastal Waterway and directly on the Okeechobee Waterway, was recently purchased by Altman Development Corp. and its subsidiary, Northside Marina Ventures, LLC. Substantial upgrades have already been made to the facility, including roadway, electrical and landscaping improvements, Flagship said.
Future plans include construction of a yacht club, waterfront condominiums, and expansion of the marina in both wet and dry stack operations, according to the company.
