UNION GAP, Wash. – Walker Bay Boats Inc. has hired Shore Communications to handle its public relations initiatives and has appointed Michael Carroll as marketing manager for worldwide operations, the company said in a release today.
“We are launching two new products this year which has led to the need for us to increase our team and support the growth” said Andrew Taylor, president of Walker Bay Boats.
Carroll was marketing manager of a cycling products company before coming to Walker Bay. He will be focusing on new marketing initiatives for 2004, the company said.
“I look forward to the challenge of raising our profile and increasing our market share,” Carroll said. “I also feel good about supporting our philosophy to open up the sport of boating to more people around the world.”
Shore Communications has worked with Walker Bay in the past on individual product launches, and is now needed to support ongoing initiatives, Walker Bay said.
