Sirius Satellite Radio becomes BoatTEST sponsor

STAMFORD, Conn. – Sirius Satellite Radio has become a sponsor for BoatTEST Publishing, according to a statement today from BoatTEST.

Under the terms of its agreement with Sirius, BoatTEST said it would post the Sirius logo on its homepage, linking to a new page that will automatically list all of the tested boats that offer Sirius as standard or optional equipment. BoatTEST will also be producing a new informational video about the Sirius Satellite Radio service that will be accessed from a dedicated product page in BoatTEST.com’s Electronics Buyer’s Guide, according to BoatTEST.

“We are excited to welcome Sirius aboard,” said publisher Chris Kelly. “We have already tested many boats where Sirius is available as standard or optional equipment, and as we test many more boats this summer, those boats will be added to the list automatically. This is great new product information for the boating consumer.”

“Boattest.com’s wide range of online, print and TV offerings to prospective boat buyers are the perfect place to showcase Sirius,” said Sirius National Sales Manager, Jeff Smith.

In addition to its online sponsorship, Sirius is also prominently featured in BoatTEST’s new “Buyer’s Guide to Sportboats and Sport Cruisers,” which is arriving in boat owner’s mailboxes starting today. Two more issues are planned for the fall, the company said.
