NMEA secures new, larger venue for its annual event

SEVERNA PARK, Md. – The National Marine Electronics Association’s (NMEA) 2004 Conference & Exposition will take place at a new, larger venue, NMEA said today in a release.

The event is scheduled for Oct. 20-23, and has been moved to the Registry Resort & Club in Naples Fla., which will provide an expanded exhibit area, according to the association.

“We feel that a change of venue will bring renewed energy and expanded recreational opportunities for our attendees,” said Beth Kahr, president of NMEA.

NMEA will begin to distribute exhibit applications for its 2004 Conference & Exposition to NMEA members today, it reported. Applications will be mailed to non-members later in May.

There are 61 exhibit booths available. Applications for space, with payment, will be accepted on May 12th. Space will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Exhibit days are Oct. 21-22.
