Toyota named official truck and SUV for Bass Pro, Tracker
TORRANCE, Calif. – Toyota has become the official truck and SUV of Bass Pro Shops and Tracker Marine Group, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. reported in a press release late yesterday.
Toyota said it will have interactive vehicle displays and special promotions at several Bass Pro Shops retail locations across the U.S.
“Since 100 percent of our pick-up trucks are built in North America, this is a great opportunity to showcase these vehicles,” said Deborah Meyer, Toyota corporate manager of marketing communications. “The association with Bass Pro Shops and Tracker Boats is yet another initiative to strengthen our role in the truck segment.”
“All of us at Bass Pro Shops and Tracker Marine Group are extremely pleased to be associated with Toyota trucks and SUVs,” said Stan Lippelman, Bass Pro Shops vice president of marketing. “Nearly 50 percent of our customers drive trucks.”
