Shurhold Industries acquires Key West Sandal Factory
PALM CITY, Fla. – Shurhold Industries has acquired the Key West Sandal Factory, with plans to continue marketing Key West’s current designs and develop models specifically for boaters and RVers, the company said in a statement yesterday.
Although Key West’s factory and showroom have moved into its building, Shurhold said traditional sandal production has remained unchanged.
“This is a great opportunity for us to reignite a 70-year, quality brand name,” Shurhold President Barry Berhoff said.
