CNY Boat Show continues to grow
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – With an expanded footprint of almost 300,000 square feet, the 2004 CNY Boat Show saw attendance increase 3 percent to over 15,000 attendees, show organizer Boating Industries Association of Upstate New York reported in a recent statement.
The CNY show is now the largest boat show in New York State, according to the association.
Nearly 85 exhibitors put 503 boats on display for attendees during the five-day show, which took place at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, N.Y., February 11-15.
The boats on display ranged from 8 to 42 feet in length, the association reported. One trend observed by organizers was a growth in the number of pontoon boats on display, with over 30 boats present at the show this year.
