Cruiser Yachts hires 42 new employees

OCONTO, Wis. – Cruisers Yachts, a luxury-yacht manufacturer, has hired 42 new employees in the first quarter to serve an increase in business in recent months, the Milwaukee Business Journal reported in an article today.

The new employees fill positions primarily in the assembly and lamination departments, and the hires increased employment at the company’s Oconto, Wis. headquarters by about 7 percent, the Journal said.

Cruisers Yachts general manager Rick Jelinski attributed recent growth at the company to the introduction of its first 50-foot express cruiser in February. He said the boat building industry in general has benefited from a return of consumer confidence in spending, according to the article.
