Solomon signs Letter of Intent with Group Beneteau
TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. – Solomon Technologies has signed a Letter of Intent with Group Beneteau Lagoon Division to offer Solomon Technologies Electric Wheel propulsion system as an available option on new boat orders through The Catamaran Company, Solomon said today.
“We are very excited about this opportunity to offer Solomon’s Electric Wheel Propulsion system on the Lagoon 38, 41, and 44 foot models to bring state of the art options to our customers,” said Hugh Murray, CEO of The Catamaran Company. “It is our belief that the Electric Wheel Propulsion System is a leading cutting-edge technology new to the industry today, but just as important as fiberglass was in the 1960’s.”
“The agreement in principle provides an essential first step in expanding our presence in the boating industry and allowing us to take one step further toward reaching our business goals and objectives,” said Dave Tether, Solomon chairman and CEO. “We believe the opportunity with The Catamaran Company will also help us transition into offering our technology in new Beneteau Monohulls.”
