Ohio boaters increasingly renewing their registrations online

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) will once again allow Ohioans to renew their watercraft registrations this year through an online system at ohiodnr.com according to a story in the Chillicothe Gazette today.

Last year, 4,134 watercraft registration renewals were completed through the system, which was started in 2001, and will be accessible 24 hours a day through June 30, the newspaper reported.

Approximately 130,000 renewal notices have been mailed to watercraft owners whose registrations expired March 1. The registrations are valid for three years, the Gazette said.
