Jeanneau makes its 1,000th Sun Odyssey 37
LES HERBIERS CEDEX, France – Jeanneau celebrated production of its 1,000th Sun Odyssey 37 and its 500th Sun Odyssey 35 recently, the company said yesterday.
“It is a rare event in today’s boating market to reach such high production numbers for a single model,” the company said. “It reminds us of the days of the Sangria and the Fantasia which were built in past peak production years with hull counts of more than 2000 and 1700 respectively.”
The company produces more than one Sun Odyssey 37, first presented in 1999, every day, and does the same for the Sun Odyssey 35, it reported.
