NMMA reports record traffic on DiscoverBoating.com

CHICAGO, Ill. – With almost two weeks still remaining, DiscoverBoating.com has already received a record number of visitors for February, the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) said yesterday.

Through Tuesday morning, more than 241,000 unique visitors had accessed the Web site compared to a total of 122,502 for all of last February. These visitors viewed 1,339,180 pages, compared to 498,287 in February 2003.

This comes after a record-breaking January, when DiscoverBoating.com welcomed 385,874 unique visitors, who viewed more than 3,660,925 pages, compared to 1,229,950 in January 2003.

Discover Boating Director Steve Tadd said he expects that visits to the site will continue to increase in the coming months.

“In March we will be offering manufacturers the opportunity to link to DiscoverBoating.com, so that consumers visiting their web sites can request a free copy of our new Discover Boating DVD,” Tadd said.
