Southco acquires David M. Arndt & Company Inc.
CONCORDVILLE, Pa.– Southco, Inc., an engineering access solution company, said in a press release today that it had acquired David M. Arndt & Company, Inc. to “provide an even broader range of products, services and complete solutions to support the marine industry.”
“We believe that the David M. Arndt Company is an excellent strategic fit for our customers and key principal suppliers,” president and CEO of Southco Brian McNeill said. “Along with our recent acquisition of Mobella, a leading supplier of marine locks and hardware, this strategic move enables us to better server our customers and strengthen our position, especially given the significant consolidation among leading boat builders.”
Southco products include latches, captive fasteners, hinges, handles and other accessories focused on “touch-point” applications.
