YachtWorld.com reports double-digit growth

SEATTLE, Wash. – YachtWorld.com reported double-digit growth across all categories in a Wednesday press release, which said that the number of boats available on the site had “increased substantially,” to more than 74,000. The number of brokerage firms also increased, it was reported, to over 1,800.

YachtWorld.com, a division of boats.com, said visitor traffic that promotes broker member listings has reached more the 50 million page views a month. The asking price of the listings on the site is in excess of $24 billion, and the number of sold boats in the Web site’s database, including sold boats with the sold price and date reported by the listing broker, has increased to over 115,000.

“It is gratifying to note that even though we have the largest number of listings and subscribing brokers by far in this segment, we still continue to enjoy substantial growth,” YachtWorld.com Publisher Jessica Muffett said. “We are clearly providing professional brokers with the services they need and we will continue to actively work with them to develop new products.”
