EZ2CY under new ownership
ARNOLD, Md. – Enclosure technology licensor EZ2CY has been purchased by Monica Leisure, daughter of the company’s previous owner Jeff Smith, according to press release issued today. Smith will remain with the company as a consultant.
Leisure hopes to improve EZ2CY’s promotion and marketing – perhaps incorporating radio and television commercials into the campaign, and also will try to expand internationally, beginning with a new dealership in Australia that will open this year. The company will continue to license and train canvas shops.
EZ2CY manufactures enclosures for boaters, using materials specified from Stamoid Fabric, Tenara Thread and Riri Zippers.
