Marine Concepts expands manufacturing facility

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Marine Concepts has announced the expansion of its existing plant, allowing for approximately 15 percent more manufacturing space.

The extra space will be used as a preparation area for the two, five-axis routers that operate at the facility. Construction is to be complete by month’s end.

“In the past few months we have seen more activity in tooling than ever before,” said Bob Long, President of Marine Concepts. “It is essential for Marine Concepts to continue to expand to meet the significant growth in demand for fiberglass tooling, especially in the area of 5-axis milling. With indicators showing strong economic growth, we are confident this expansion will help both Marine Concepts and its customers meet manufacturing goals established for the New Year.”

Marine Concepts offers design, development, engineering, prototype and fiberglass tooling services.
