Wisconsin boat show doubles in size

MADISON, Wis. – The 3nd Annual Madison Boat & Water Sports Show, which will run January 23-25 at the Alliant Energy Center, will be twice the size of last year’s premiere show, organizers reported in a statement yesterday.

Approximately 30 boat dealers from throughout Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa have signed on to fill the 110,000-square-foot area with more than 250 recreational and fishing craft, from fishing boats and personal watercraft to V-drive boats for skiing and wakeboarding.

“This show reflects the diversity of recreational boating in the state and it is an opportunity for South Central Wisconsin residents to see why so many families are joining the ranks of ski and wakeboard-boat owners,” said Show Director Kevin McLaughlin, vice president of MAC Events. “The Madison Boat & Water Sports Show doubled in size this year, making it the largest boat show ever held in Madison and the largest show in central Wisconsin.”

The more than 50 manufacturers represented will include Ranger, Hurricane, Baja, Tracker, Bennington Marine, Caravelle, Centurion Ski Boats, Formula, Chaparral, Crownline, Mastercraft, Sea Ray, Yamaha Wave Runners, Lowe, Triton, Odyssey, Lund, Four Winns, Alumacraft, Glastron, Sylvan, Polaris and many other brands.

The 3nd Annual Madison Boat & Water Sports Show is produced by MAC Events LLC, a producer of business-to-consumer trade shows in a variety of industries and markets since 1968. The Spring Lake, NJ-based family-owned company produces 19 recreational vehicle, boat, home & garden and outdoor sports shows a year throughout Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Wisconsin.
