US Marine reports boat show sales increases

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Increasing consumer optimism combined with new products have helped boost US Marine year-over-year sales by almost 20 percent through 15 fall boat shows, the company reported in a statement today.

The growth was led by sales of Trophy sport fishing boats, which saw overall increases of more than 55 percent over the previous year’s sales, according to the company. Part of that success is attributed to the launch of the all-new 2502 and 2902 Walkaround models, Taylor said.

Bayliner further fueled US Marine’s growth, led by strong sales of its 175 and 185 runabout models, the company reported. Bayliner’s
Sales results were also powered by strong demand for cruisers. Year-over-year sales of standard cruisers ranging from 24 to 30 feet were up by more than 50 percent.

Lastly, US Marine said Maxum has had great success with its recent introduction of the all new “3-series.”

“We were very pleased with the market response to Bayliner, Trophy and Maxum in the fall shows,” said Taylor. “We intend to build on this momentum and customer enthusiasm and look forward to continued good news in the winter and spring shows.”

US Marine manufactures fiberglass boats, ranging from 16-42 feet, under the Bayliner, Trophy and Maxum brands and is a component of the Brunswick Boat Group, a unit of the Brunswick Corp. (NYSE: BC).
