Palm Beach show to include new convention center

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The 2004 Palm Beach Boat Show has added the new Palm Beach County Convention Center as its second location, show producer Yachting Promotions, Inc. reported in a statement today. The 19th annual event is scheduled to take place March 25-28.

In addition to spanning more than one million square feet of space on land and in water on the Intracoastal Waterway along Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach, the show will also cover more than 100,000 square feet of space at the just completed convention center, the show producer stated.

Combined, the two sites will feature well over $300 million worth of boats, superyachts and accessories from marine manufacturers worldwide.

“The new convention center gives us the opportunity to take the show to the next level,” said Kaye Pearson, president of Yachting Promotions, Inc., producers of the show. Exhibit space has sold out at a record pace, he added.

“Several exhibitors will have displays at both sites,” according to Dane Graziano, vice president of Yachting Promotions, Inc. “You will find boats ranging from 18 to 36 feet at the convention center along with a wide variety of accessories, fishing clinics and more.”

The new location also offers 1,100 parking spaces. Continuous shuttle bus service will connect the two sites, City Place and various parking lots, according to Yachting Promotions.
