Lewis Marine Supply acquires Manset Marine Supply
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – After more than 57 years of providing sales and service to marine interests in Maine, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and all over New England, Manset Marine Supply Company, Inc., a family-owned business, has been sold to another long standing, family-owned marine supplier, Lewis Marine Supply, Inc., the two announced in a statement Friday.
Manset Marine said it feels that it owes its customers the opportunity to transition their account to a quality distributor of integrity that also places emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.
Lewis Marine now has office warehouse locations in Florida, South Carolina, New York, and Maine.
The company said its desire is to provide wholesale distributor services of the highest quality, including daily deliveries to the boatyards, builders, dealers, repair shops, and customers along the eastern U.S. seaboard from Maine to Key West.
Lewis Marine already does business in the Maine area, servicing those accounts from its Greenport, Long Island location.
