Regal receives ISO 9001:2000 certification
ORLANDO, Fla. – Regal Marine Industries, Inc. has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the company reported in a statement today.
ISO provides a globally accepted model for a quality assurance in production, installation and servicing. Its certification creates a documentation system for evaluation and verification for all quality procedures and materials throughout a company, enabling a manufacturer to improve its level of consistency, stated the company.
“ISO 9001:2000 certification means that our customers and distributors can be extremely confident in our product knowing that Regal boats are backed by the highest level of international standards,” said Regal President Duane Kuck. “Regal believes that conformity to international standards provides assurance to our customers that our manufacturing processes represent quality, safety and reliability.”
Regal Marine is one of the first marine manufacturers to achieve the ISO 9001:2000 certification, according to the company.
