C-Map to sponsor new BWI writing contest category
CAPE COD, Mass. — C-MAP/USA, a manufacturer of electronic charts and charting systems for sea, land and air, will be sponsoring a new Gear, Electronic and Product Test category in the 2003 Boating Writer’s International (BWI) Annual Writing Contest, the company reported in a statement Wednesday.
BWI member writers can submit articles published in 2003 for review by a panel of volunteer judges. As with each of the 13 sponsored categories, the winners of the Gear, Electronics and Product Test category will receive $500 for first place, $300 for second place and $200 for third place, according to the company.
Writing contest winners will be announced and will receive their awards at the BWI meeting during the 2004 Miami International Boat Show in February.
