Yanmar renews sponsorship for 2004 show season
ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. — Information booths at major 2004 NMMA/Sail America consumer shows will carry the Yanmar Marine name, as the diesel engine manufacturer has renewed it sponsorship for the next show season, according to Tom Calhoun, Yanmar Marine’s vice president, who made the announcement yesterday.
The 2004 sponsorships include the New York National Boat Show, New York City, held December 27 through January 4; the San Diego Boat Show, in San Diego, Calif., on January 8-11; Sail Expo Atlantic City, Atlantic City, N.J., on January 15-18; Strictly Sail Chicago, Chicago, Ill., held January 29 through February 1; the Miami International Boat Show and Strictly Sail Miami, both held in Miami, Fla., on February 12-17; and the Norwalk In-Water Boat Show, Norwalk, Conn., on September 23-26.
Yanmar will provide information booths at the shows to handle general questions from show attendees, along with sponsoring welcome greeters titled “Boat Show Ambassadors.” In addition, messages received for exhibitors will be forwarded directly to the appropriate booth by fax, phone or messenger.
