MarineLiens.com launches new Web site

FLATTS VILLAGE, Bermuda, — MarineLiens.com, an online global database for both posting and searching maritime lien claims, has gone live with its new multi-functional Web site, the company announced yesterday.

The new Web site defines concepts in layman terms and offers free searching and posting. If a vessel shows up as having a lien against it, there is a modest $20.00 fee to view the lien. Testimonials are also included on the new site, according to the company.

“As research showed that people were not familiar with maritime liens, we thought it was time to redesign our Web site. We tried to make it a simple, informative and educational forum that allows users to get a better understanding of the concept and take action – searching or posting depending on their situation,” said David Hayward, president of MarineLiens.com.
