Shakespeare And V-Tronix Sign Marketing Agreement

A joint marketing agreement signed between two former rivals will results in an expansion of Shakespeare products into the V-Tronix lineup.
Under an agreement announced at the Marine Industry Trade Show (METS) in November, U.S.-based Shakespeare C&E will begin manufacturing selected marine antenna products for England-based Communications Aerials V-Tronix.
According to V-Tronix officials, the latest Communications Aerials catalog contains a new eight-product line of fiberglass antennas and powerboat antenna mounts made by Shakespeare with the V-Tronix brand name.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to manufacture a variety of products for Communications Aerials that will commence as part of its V-Tronix product line,” Don Henry, director of Shakepeare’s Marine Products Group, said. “Furthermore, we are especially pleased to be associated with a company as reputable as Communications Aerials.”
In addition, Shakespeare announced that it has relocated its warehouse operations from Holland to the Communication Aerials facilities in Wiltshire, England. Previously, Shakespeare warehoused out of a facility used by its sister fishing tackle company in Holland, Henry said.
“Customer satisfaction is high on our priority list,” Henry said. “The new U.K. warehouse will enhance the quality of service to our European distributors who depend on the prompt and reliable shipments of our products.”
All orders and customers contact will continue to run through Shakespeare’s U.S. facility in South Carolina.
