WINTER PARK, Fla. — Bonnier Corp. yesterday announced it has acquired Trailer Boats and Powerboat from Ehlert Publishing Group. Ehlert also owns Boating Industry magazine, which was not involved in the deal.
“Bonnier has been very aggressive in looking for new ways to deliver niche boating content to our audience,” Glenn Hughes, group publisher of Bonnier’s marine titles, said in a release. “While we will not continue to publish Trailer Boats and Powerboat at their existing frequencies, we will explore special print issues and digital initiatives for the brands in the future.”
Print subscriptions of Trailer Boats and Powerboat will be fulfilled with the readers’ choice from Bonnier’s portfolio of marine publications, which includes Boating, Sport Fishing, Salt Water Sportsman, WaterSki and TransWorld Wakeboarding.
