NMBA seeks conference speakers
CHICAGO, Ill. — The National Marine Bankers Association has issued a call for professional presentations at its 32nd annual NMBA Conference to be held in San Antonio from Nov. 6-8.
“We are reaching out to the industry for presenters and speakers who have services, products, or ideas that can help the marine industry through retail and/or wholesale lending opportunities,” said Karen Trostle, president. “We spend a great deal of time on the content for the conference, and we want to be sure it speaks to our audience. In order to do that, we need to hear from boat and yacht manufacturers and dealers, as well as others who provide valuable services to the industry.”
Conference co-chairs Bill Otto and Jackie Forese are looking for presentations that are pertinent to NMBA’s audience, which includes banks, finance companies, and originators of boat and yacht loans, marine portfolio investors, and ancillary services such as marine insurance, maritime attorneys, USCG documentation and title agencies, and recovery and liquidation companies.
