RBFF president to speak at Partners Outdoors event

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Frank Peterson, president and CEO of the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation, will speak on the importance of boating and fishing in engaging youth in the outdoors during the Partners Outdoors event, according to a recent release from the organization.

Using Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign as a model, Peterson will join a group of state and federal government officials, educational, health care and environmental experts at the Partners Outdoors event to develop ways to increase participation in outdoor recreational activities.

“I’m honored and excited to be able to share alongside this great panel of speakers, RBFF’s efforts to get Americans outdoors,” said Peterson in the release. “Partners Outdoors has made remarkable strides in meeting the ever-changing recreational needs of the public and I look forward to lending my thoughts about how we can work together to get folks engaged in outdoor activities again.”

In addition to Peterson’s speech, titled “Partners Working to Keep Americans Fishing and Boating in the Great Outdoors”, the event will feature a wide range of activities over its three-day period.
