THOMASTON, Maine — The Marine Systems Training Center in Thomaston recently scheduled a two-day class featuring marine weather topics presented by Ken McKinley, chief meteorologist of Locus Weather in Camden, Maine. The course will be held Feb. 4-5.
Information will be presented on common weather systems and how they affect yachting and commercial boating activities. The course is designed for all mariners with an interest in marine weather: delivery captains, yacht racers, or offshore and coastal cruising boaters.
