Duracraft Marine auction set for Oct. 16
LEXINGTON, S.C. — The Duracraft Marine logo and name will be sold at the beginning of an auction scheduled for Oct. 16, according the auction notice from Johnny King Auctions.
After that, everything else from the more than 50-year-old company will go as well.
“This manufacturing plant is getting into another part of the marine business and liquidating the Duracraft portion of the business,” the auction listing notes. “This was a working manufacturing plant until a few weeks ago. The machinery is clean and operable. The parts are in large quantities, unused, and will be sold by the pallet. Most of the boats are complete. Some need accessories added.”
