MarineMax acquires Ohio marina
CLEARWATER, Fla. — MarineMax Inc. has expanded its storage and service capabilities in Ohio with the acquisition of a large, heated storage and yacht service facility. MarineMax previously occupied the facility as a tenant for several years.
The marina, named The Yacht Center, is located in West Harbor with access to Lake Erie and the islands near Port Clinton, Ohio. The facility is capable of accommodating vessels up to 75 feet in length.
William H. McGill, Jr., CEO of MarineMax, stated in a press release, “We are very excited to acquire a facility of this scale in the Northern Ohio market. This acquisition complements our already strong presence in the area and further enhances our ability and strategy of improving our customers’ experience.”
The terms of the purchase price were not disclosed.
