Composites supplier sees growth in marine sales
ZURICH, Switzerland — Gurit, a global supplier of composites and advanced composite materials for the wind energy, marine, automotive, rail and aerospace markets, reported growth in Q2 after a slow start into 2010, including significant growth in its marine division.
Marine achieved 22.1 percent higher sales of 27.4 million Swiss francs.
“The high-end marine market is gradually recovering and the B3 SmartPac offering, targeting the production boat builders, has been introduced to the North American market,” the company said of its increased sales.
