Cathelco acquires Seafresh Desalinators
CHESTERFIELD, United Kingdom — With the aim of expanding its product range, Cathelco has acquired Seafresh Desalinators, a company that specializes in watermakers for luxury yachts and other vessels.
Cathelco manufactures seawater pipework anti-fouling systems, which are installed on vessels ranging from commercial and cruise vessels to luxury yachts. They also produce ICCP hull corrosion protection systems for ships of all types.
“We believe that there is excellent potential for the sale of desalinators in both the luxury yacht and commercial vessel market worldwide, particularly with the advantages of our well established agent network,” Justin Salisbury, managing director of Cathelco, said in a release.
