Yamaha says August boat, WaveRunner sales up
KENNESAW, Ga – Yamaha WaterCraft Group reports sales across its two product lines, Yamaha WaveRunners and 21- and 23-foot boats, rose significantly in August compared to the prior year.
Year over year, sales of Yamaha WaveRunners increased 13 percent, the company said in a release this week, while sales of Yamaha Boats increased 44 percent.
“While the economic environment continues to be challenging, we have been hard at work with our dealers to create a compelling offer on every product that we sell. The strong results in August prove that this approach is resonating with our customers,” Mark Speaks, president of Yamaha’s WaterCraft Group, said in the release.
