Constellation Software acquires Integrated Dealer Systems
TORONTO, Canada — Constellation Software Inc. has completed the acquisition of the shares of Integrated Dealer Systems from Brunswick Corporation, according to a recent release from Constellation. The deal was made through Constellation’s wholly owned subsidiary, Constellation Homebuilders Systems (CHS).
“Brunswick’s IDS software division is the proven market leader of software to the RV and Marine dealership verticals in North America,” Dexter Salna, President of CHS, said in the release. “IDS will join Constellation Automotive Systems, in CHS’s newly formed Dealership Management segment.”
Daniel Zinman, General Manager of CHS’s Dealer Management group, said acquiring the IDS division from Brunswick will allow the company to apply its experience to new markets.
“The acquisition of IDS helps extend our footprint into two adjacent markets where we can apply our proven best practices.”
Constellation Software provides software and services to a number of industries across both the public and private sectors.
