New marine industry marketing and public relations firm launched

GAINESVILLE, Ga. – Brian Johnston has launched Bonefish Communications, a marketing and public relations firm targeting the recreational and commercial boating industries, he reported in a statement yesterday.

A former public relations counselor to Honda Marine, Johnston planned and executed the group’s national public relations activities, domestic and global media launches, press kit creative direction, and media outreach programs, according to the company. He also oversaw planning and promotion of media events in coordination with boat builders, as well as managed development of new product Web sites, print and video collateral materials.

Johnston said he founded Bonefish Communications with the mission of growing America’s small businesses through the implementation of cost-effective marketing and public relations strategies.
