MRAA creates Young Leaders Advisory Board

BOCA GRANDE, Fla. — The Marine Retailers Association of America is creating a new advisory group called the Young Leaders Advisory Board to represent the next generation of marine retailers, according to a release from MRAA.

“Within all of our organizations there are young rising stars that we would like to have as members of the MRAA Young Leaders Advisory Board,” the release stated.

Currently, MRAA is looking for nominees for the advisory group, who would meet and advise the MRAA board and make themselves available as an ongoing reference to the board. The new group will meet twice a year and then present their ideas and findings to the MRAA board.

Members of the advisory board can be up to 40 years of age, must hold a position of significance in a dealership and must have a minimum of five years of marine experience.

To nominate a young professional for the group, contact Paul Nickel of Pride Marine Group at pnickel@pridemarinegroup.com.
