NORFOLK, Va. — Sister sites BoatTrader.com and Boats.com have partnered to offer marine dealers the Alliance advertising package, parent company Dominion Enterprises reported this week.
The package is available through BoatTrader.com and Boats.com sales representatives and includes unlimited photo listings on the sites, video options, inventory feeds to Google, Geebo, Oodle and LiveDeal, a presence on the BoatTrader.com affiliate network and other benefits, the company said.
“By joining the Alliance, dealers can put their listings in front of more than 2 million hot prospects each month, representing more than 60 percent of all boat buyers searching online,” said Ian Atkins, general manager of Boats.com. “With just 10 percent of consumers visiting both BoatTrader.com and Boats.com, dealers that advertise on one site alone are missing out on 90 percent of the potential buyers visiting the other site.”
Boat Trader General Manager David Bingham added: "The Alliance package will maximize dealers’ results while providing one point of contact for the top two marine classified Web sites.”
