NEW YORK — Boating magazine is for sale along with several other brands owned by parent-company Hachette Filipacchi Media, according to a report in Advertising Age.
The other enthusiast publications to be sold include Popular Photography, American Photo, Cycle World, Flying and Sound & Vision.
It is unclear whether the titles being are available individually or only as a group, according to Advertising Age.
Ad pages from January through April were down at all the magazines, but Boating took the biggest hit, dropping 48.7 percent, Advertising Age reported.
Hachette also publishes Elle, Car and Driver, Road & Track and Woman's Day magazines.
