Over 300 attend the Monterey dealer meeting

Williston, Fla. – More than 300 dealer/partners, media, vendors and staff from around the United States and 24 different countries joined Monterey Boats at its annual dealer meeting last weekend in Sanibel Harbour, Fla., the company said this week.

Included in that number were 16 dealers who attended the meeting for the first time as Monterey introduced two new cruisers and one new sport yacht for 2009, which it said essentially completes its entire cruiser line-up from 26 to 41 feet.

The company said hundreds of new product enhancements throughout the entire sport boat and cruiser line were also announced.

“It was gratifying to see so many of our new dealer/partners attending their very first Monterey dealer meeting,” said Charles Marshall, co-chairman of Monterey Boats. “It is a testament to the success of our aggressive dealer development in the past 12 months, and also demonstrates the high level of interest and demand for our new product. The upbeat mood and enthusiasm among everyone in attendance was especially gratifying.”
