BEDFORD PARK, Ill. – Hoist Liftruck is expanding internationally due to the demand for liftrucks in various industries worldwide, the company said in a statement Friday.
Hoist Liftruck has asked Mike McMaster and Mike Kelly to serve as directors for the newly formed international development team. McMaster and Kelly will be responsible for creating a global presence for Hoist, setting up new distributors and increasing international sales.
“Building upon the domestic market success for the last decade, we are enthusiastic about our international expansion,” said Marty Flaska, Hoist Liftruck president.
McMaster brings many years of international sales experience from his former position as international sales manager for EduSystems, Inc. in Bangkok, Thailand. While there, he supervised worldwide initiatives including major projects in Europe and Asia. Most recently, McMaster was self-employed as an international sales consultant and was responsible for business development with various companies worldwide.
Kelly came to Hoist with 20 years of experience in the international market. He most recently was global customer relations manager with Motorola, Inc., focusing on facilitating customer objectives and interfacing with Motorola’s largest global customers. Previously, Kelly worked as a contract business consultant and earlier as advertising manager for Regal Beloit Corp.
To kick off Hoist Liftruck’s international presence, representatives will be at Breakbulk Europe at the Antwerp Expo in Antwerp, Belgium, May 27-29 and Cemat 2008 in Hanover, Germany, May 27-31.
