LYNNWOOD, Wash. – Wakeboard manufacturers CWB Board Company has begun a project dubbed CWB_TV, which aims to show the wakeboard industry through the eyes of a camera crewed by a team CWB has assembled.
The company says CWB_TV is “a fresh look at the wake industry,” from what it takes to shoot a product ad and team poster, to hanging out in a random hotel with ten team riders prior to a tour stop.
“We’re excited about this project as it will give consumers a first-hand look at what it takes to be a pro rider, some face time with our brand, and some very unique opportunities with the funniest group of riders in the sport,” said Steve Bates, team manager and the creator of CWB_TV. “Spending time with the team is like hosting Saturday Night Live. From travel, to practice, to a weekend in the life, it is going to be a great time putting it together.”
The first episode of the show is slated to launch in March.
