Skeeter continues its tournament incentive program

KILGORE, Texas – Skeeter Products, Inc., manufacturer of Skeeter brand boats, will continue its “Real Money” tournament incentive program for 2008, the company said in a recent release.

For 2008, the “Real Money” program, which runs from Jan. 1, 2008 through Dec. 31, 2008, features three levels of payouts for its owners who fish sanctioned Skeeter tournaments.

  • $3,000 Cash: Fish and win a sanctioned Skeeter tournament using your 2008 Skeeter boat powered by a 225 hp Yamaha engine or larger.
  • $2,000 Cash: Fish and win a sanctioned Skeeter tournament using your 2008 Skeeter boat powered by a 200 hp Yamaha engine, or fish and win with a 2007 Skeeter boat powered by a 225 hp or larger Yamaha engine.
  • $1,000 Cash: Fish and win a sanctioned Skeeter tournament using your Skeeter boat powered by a Yamaha engine.
  • During 2007, Skeeter’s “Real Money” program paid cash to approximately 2,000 Skeeter owners who competed and won sanctioned tournaments across the country, including tournaments such as Bass Champs, the Skeeter Eliminator Series, the Central Pro Am, B.I.T.E., and the Skeeter/Yamaha Tour. The program more than doubled in participation from 2006 to 2007.

“This year’s program is once again the largest contingency posting in Skeeter’s history, which is very appropriate as we celebrate our 60th Anniversary,” said Trey White, director of Marketing for Skeeter Products, Inc. “Our program is easy to understand, with no strings attached. Win a sanctioned tournament, and get paid Real Money.”
