Yamaha launches Y.E.S. promotion

KENNESAW, Ga. – Yamaha Marine Group will once again be rolling out its “Why Wait?” Y.E.S. promotion, the company said in a statement yesterday. The promotion, which runs from Oct. 8 to Nov. 21, includes an additional three-year Yamaha Extended Service contract benefit worth up to $2,600 (based on MSRP), at no additional cost to people who buy Yamaha’s most popular eligible models.

Eligible models are 50hp to 250 hp four-stroke outboards and 150hp to 300 hp two-stroke VMAX HPDI outboards. The outboards must be sold at an authorized, participating Yamaha dealer between the promotion dates. Eligible models must have been manufactured since April 2005 or have been manufactured with a model year of 2005.

“With the summer drawing to a close, there are would-be boaters who were bitten by the bug or current owners who want to trade up,” said Dale Barnes, Yamaha Marine Group division marketing manager. “A new Yamaha outboard with the extended warranty this promotion offers gives boaters more value for the dollar than anything on the water.”
